Inspired by the earth’s anomalies and memories of watching the stars, Carmynn Zhang captures the hope and desire we feel while wishing upon a shooting star. Using auroras and meteors as a symbol of newfound strength and inspiration, she hopes the painting acts as a reminder that there is light amongst darkness.

About Carmynn:

Carmynn Zhang is a Bay Area visual artist and Illustration student at the Academy of Art University. Inspired by the human psyche, surrealistic imagery, and nature, she uses portraiture and vibrant colors to explore the depths of how humans heal through art.
