FAQ

  • What Does 333 Arts Do?

We are a volunteer run nonprofit that partners with citizens and businesses to create public art (largely murals) as a way to connect and beautify communities. We are capable of working in all nine San Francisco Bay Area counties.

  • How Are Projects Funded?

We try to be self sustaining and largely are funded through donations and private commission work, as well as occasional grants. We area a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit with volunteers as our team, so all revenue goes to operating and program costs, not salaries.

  • How Do I Partner With Your Organization?

Please send us a detailed email of what your interest is and what you are trying to accomplish. Are you an artist that wants to participate? Are you a business that wants to donate? Are you a citizen that wants to start a conversation in your community using art?

  • How Do We Find Out When And Where Projects Are?

We don’t currently have a program schedule posted because of how we work as volunteers, it’s difficult to plan out and forecast very far in advance. We typically post updates and announcements via Instagram.

  • Can I Replicate What 333 Arts Does in My City?

We’ve created a template that we are more than willing to share if you want to replicate our magic in your city, wherever you are. If you are interested in using our formula for Community, Creativity and Collaboration we will share our best practices with you.

  • Does 333 Arts Do More Than Murals?

Yes, we are capable and interested in working on other mediums besides murals, however the murals are a great platform for community collaboration and interactions. If you want to propose a project idea, we are here to listen.
