333 Arts @ 333 Lancaster
Well this was a real treat. Through our long-term friendship with the WES, (White Elephant Society) the ladies that run the Oakland Museum Woman’s Board that puts on the famous annual White Elephant Sale, we secured the entire front of their warehouse for art! Our guest artists are Pancho Peskador and David Burke who led the first jam, and will lead the next two as well.
This is significant for a lot of reasons. The art is great for the neighborhood and especially the apartments directly across from this beautiful mural in progress. It’s also helpful for the OMWB as a marketing piece to bring out good crowds for their sale. The proceeds from their annual sale are donated to the Oakland Museum of California. Lots of good will involved in this whole ecosystem.
